Jungian types

Attitude and function types and reference

Further, Jung distinguished what he termed attitude types (extroverted and introverted) and function types (based on thinking, feeling, intuition and sensation). Thus one can be an extroverted thinking type, for example, or an introverted sensation type and the psychological type one is tends to influence ones dream style. As John Beebe of the San Francisco Jung Institute pointed out, it is often helpful to think about the typology of dream figures in ones dreams as well (1996).
