- A variety of multiple-choice questions about déjà vécu and déjà visité
- Demographic (anonymous) questions

Demographic results:
- 3157 usable data sets (~ 5% were eliminated because only few questions were answered)
- 1887 women (60%) and 1237 men (40%) (33 didn’t want to reveal what sex they were or didn’t know)
- 51% have a college education
- Racially, 68% are Caucasians with Asians making up the second largest group (6.7%)
- 64.7% are less than 30 years of age
- 2536 (81.6%) were from the four largest English-speaking countries (64% from the US) and 572 (18%) from the rest of the world. (58 didn’t wish to divulge their whereabouts).
General results:
- Mixed forms of both déjà vécu and déjà visité occur.
- 61% said only a few or even none of their déjà experiences had to do with important events.
- Some hereditary influence may be present.
- Sight and hearing clearly predominate but smell, touch and taste are also sometimes involved.
- 75% remember some, many or all their dreams.
- Only 5% say they have been diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy.
- 48% say they are thinking types.
- 1224 introverts (40%) and 699 extraverts (23%) have responded thus far (1167 or 38% say they are both).
